Who Submissives Are
Published: 2026-08-20
What Lies Behind Submission
A submissive is someone who feels comfortable letting their partner take the lead in a relationship. It's often not about weakness at all, but about trust: being tired of making every decision, letting go, and handing the reins to someone who cares for you.
Most submissives value safety far more than humiliation. What matters to them is knowing their partner sees their limits and will never cross them. That's why the foundation of any Dominant–submissive relationship is trust, not pressure.
How to Communicate Respectfully
Start with an ordinary, respectful conversation. Ask what the person is into, which practices they'd like to try and which are an absolute no. Never applying pressure is the mark of a mature partner.
Skip the copy-paste "hey, how's it going" openers and, above all, avoid rudeness in your first message. A serious submissive is looking for someone who can talk, not just give orders.
You can see real examples in our users' profiles: Алина, Света, Наташа — all of them say they're looking for a caring and confident partner.
What Not to Do
Don't demand submission in the very first message. Don't ignore a no. Don't try to "re-educate" anyone. Respect for limits is what separates play from trauma.
Remember: consent can be withdrawn at any moment, and that doesn't "ruin the scene." It's a normal part of the dynamic.
